Caitlyn Jenner reveals her stance on transgender sports while on the Full Send podcast.

In the typical Nelk fashion, the group surprised fans today with their latest guest of the Full Send Podcast, Caitlyn Jenner. The podcast has been perfectly timed with the current social discussion of what sports are acceptable for transgender athletes to compete in. In recent, this topic has caught both national and international attention with even the UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson voicing his opinion on the matter.

On one side of the debate, many believe that trans-women should be allowed to compete, as some argue the affects of hormone replacement therapy makes trans-women endocrinologically (hormonally) similar to biological women. Where as on the other side, many critics of transgender participation cite factors that can not be reversed by the endocrine system, such as the height differences and larger lungs that are associated with individuals who have gone through male puberty.

On his podcast, Nelk member, Kyle Forgeard, asked the former Olympic athlete Caitlin Jenner for her opinion on the topic. Jenner then replied by stating that “Biological men should not be playing in girl’s sports.” Furthermore, this is not the first time that Jenner has taken to the mic to voice her opinion on this issue. In a past interview with Fox News Jenner also emphasized that biological men should not be competing in female sports to “protect female sports” and that being an athlete comes “with responsibility and some integrity.” At the time, this came as a shock for some transgender athletes as they were wishing for the support of Caitlyn Jenner.
