Jorge ‘Gamebred’ Masvidal is one of the names Jake Paul called out after his spectacular knockout on Tyron Woodley in the 6th round of last week’s fight card. Jake Paul, whose initial opponent Tommy Fury backed out, fought Woodley in a rematch that fans were hoping to see after questions went unanswered in their first bout. This time Jake finished him in a decisive manner which left the audience stunned as well as the thousands at home and on social media.

Shortly after the knockout, UFC superstar ‘Jorge Masvidal’ took to Twitter and began trash talking Jake. His request was one which Jake’s biggest supporters would even be worried about, an MMA fight. Mixed martial arts is an entirely different animal than traditional boxing. In the world of MMA, Jake would be entirely out of his comfort zone and casually strolling into Masvidal’s home turf.

Jake Paul responded to the challenge by making a large cash offer upfront as an incentive. He criticized Dana who has been the subject of longstanding rumors regarding the UFC not adequately compensating it’s fighters. Dana White has repeatedly denied this claim.

“Jake Paul has publicly offered Jorge Masvidal $5million plus a percentage of PPV sales to fight him next: “Let’s make it happen. That’s the most you’ll ever have gotten paid. Daddy Dana just has to let you out of your contract. You work for the UFC, you’re a bitch.” – @MichaelBensonn

Masvidal responded by requesting Jake to up his offer and he would take the boxing match. If Jake is unable to guarantee 20 million up front, Jorge would be happy to have Paui come over to the UFC and sign a one fight deal.

Why should you be excited for this potential fight? While Jorge ‘Gamebred’ Masvidal is a UFC fighter and not a professional boxer, he is not someone to be taken lightly. Masvidal has the UFC record for the fastest knockout in history at three seconds when he embarrassed one of Jake’s former opponents Ben Askrin.
