Dr. Disrespect vs Doctor Mike? The Battle of YouTube’s Most Influential Doctors
Dr. Mikhail Varshavski or just “Doctor Mike” is the #1 Health/Medicine influencer totaling 20,000,000+ fans across social media. Varshavski gained media attention in 2015 when Buzzfeed published an article highlighting his good looks. After, ‘People Magazine’ named him “the Sexiest Doctor Alive” in its ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ issue, popularizing his social media accounts.

The rise of influencer boxing, thanks to the likes of KSI and the Paul brothers, has had fans imagining their favorite creators hopping in the ring. On Twitter, one fan-imagined fight we couldn’t help but notice hailed from DramaAlerts’s own, Owen Eugenio, pitting Doctor Mike versus social media’s other “Doctor”, Dr. Disrespect. While Dr. Disrespect may not be skilled in the science of medicine or have won awards for his charm, this fight just makes sense.
In fact, this tweet managed to catch the eye of Doctor Mike himself. Though most would fear a 6-foot 8-inch former NCAA Division II basketball player, Doctor Mike made it very clear he wasn’t intimidated. He called for a tougher opponent, claiming Dr. Disrespect wouldn’t be a challenge for him.

Doctor Mike has made it known that he is committed to fighting in 2022. He has begun training and even went rounds sparring. This not only shows that he is taking boxing seriously, but it also shows that he is ready to fight at any moment.
